At least, it feels like peak romance to Astarion, who delights in gore and has never experienced his preferences being taken into account before Iorveth. His mouth twists into a nasty, malicious little grin as he watches Iorveth do that knife trick, pleased by the effort to be showy. Maybe he should try to teach Iorveth more tricks -- entirely selfishly, of course. Iorveth looks good doing them. ]
