Iorveth is a strong warrior, and he can tell that Lae'zel respects that. Iorveth's intensity would be no turn-off for her, considering she's been at knifepoint with her lady love more than once. Hells, she would probably be better suited to him than an ex-magistrate with an appreciation for finer living, but Astarion sank his claws into Iorveth first.
